Methods of studying the Koran
HOLY QURAN

Some Muslims may start studying the Quran in traditional schools, others may have a visiting tutor at home, and some Muslims may take Quran classes online.
ISLAM

Whether you want to understand Islam better as an adult or hope to put your children on the path of studying the Quran, using the Internet to learn the Quran offers you great advantages over traditional classes.

Advantages of studying the Quran online

Small classes and personalized study courses

A college-level Quran or Islamic Studies class may have only one teacher speaking to a group of 20 or 30 students, with perhaps only one opportunity to meet the teacher each week. On the other hand, online Quran courses make studying Quran much more enjoyable and convenient for learning Quran. Quran teachers online can provide individual lessons. Personalized lessons mean flexible planning, this will allow you to determine when you want to start this challenge.
Learn the Quran in Arabic / English

The Quran was revealed to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) in Arabic, but this language can be difficult for those who do not live in Arabic-speaking countries. Being able to learn the Quran in Arabic or English (or both if desired) can be a great advantage for a student who may have difficulty in both languages. The online Quran tutors at Madrasat El-Quran are bilingual, able to help students master the Arabic text of the Quran without requiring them to be fluent in Arabic.
Deep learning

Some Muslims may be happy to simply read the Quran, understand the meaning of the words and apply its lessons to their daily life. Yet learning the Quran can be a lifelong endeavor. Muslims owe it to themselves not only to read the words of the Koran, but to master them. This is where studying the Quran online has the greatest benefit.
If you think a deeper understanding of the Quran would enrich your life, you can proceed to book a free trial lesson for any Quran course of your choice and start planning this great faith task.

Aims and objectives of Muslim education
Islam placed great value on education and, with the spread of the faith among various peoples, education became an important means of creating a universal and cohesive social order. By the mid-9th century, knowledge was divided into three categories: Islamic sciences, philosophical and natural sciences (Greek knowledge), and literary arts. The Islamic sciences, which emphasized the study of the Qur'an (Islamic scriptures) and hadith (the sayings and traditions of the Prophet Muhammad) and their interpretation by eminent scholars and theologians, were the most popular, but Greek culture was also considered . important, even if less virtuous.

Early Muslim education emphasized practical studies, such as applying technological skills to the development of irrigation systems, architectural innovations, textiles, iron and steel products, terracotta and leather products; the manufacture of paper and gunpowder; trade advancement; and the maintenance of a merchant navy.
After the 11th century, however, sectarian interests dominated higher education and the Islamic sciences gained prominence. Greek knowledge has been privately studied, if at all, and the literary arts have lost their importance as educational policies that encourage academic freedom and new learning have been replaced by a closed system characterized by scholarly intolerance, innovations science, secular subjects and creative research.

This denominational system spread throughout eastern Islam, from Transoxania (roughly modern Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and southwestern Kazakhstan) to Egypt, with some 75 schools existing between around 1050 and 1250.
Educational organization
The education system in the Muslim world was non-integrated and undifferentiated. The learning took place in various institutions, including the alqah, or study circle; the maktab (kuttab), or elementary school; the palace schools; libraries and literary salons; and the various types of college, the jersey, the masjid and the madrasa. All schools taught essentially the same subjects.
